Classroom Policies and Procedures

Things to Remember:

1. Technology Education is an area of hands on practical experience and problem solving. Reading, in-class discussions and homework assignments are an important part of the program. Students who do the best in the program have regular attendance and do all assigned work regularly and on time.
2. Follow school rules, which means:
a. Be in class on time before the tardy bell rings
b. No eating or drinking in the Technology Labs
c. Profanity, Misbehavior, and Disrespect will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the classroom and/or detention.
3. Be prepared for class each and every day:
Bring a pen/ pencil Notebook or Pad Completed homework

4. I will be available for extra help Monday-Thursday after school for at least 30 minutes. It is your responsibility to seek extra help if you do not understand a topic or need to make up work.


Labs:
Lab work is an important part of this course and will be graded based on effort and following of proper procedures. Safety is stressed at all times. Horseplay will not be tolerated, and can result in the removal from class and/or detention.

Grading:
All work will be graded based on effort put forth by the student and accuracy of completion.
10% Homework 20% Tests, Quizzes 60% Lab Assignments
20% Final Exam
